Here is a view of the dining area of the front lobby, taken from the third floor balcony. The lobby was an oddly-shaped hub, with oddly-shaped rooms whose doors were set at angles within hallways that radiated from the hub in odd directions.
A glass elevator rises from an enclosure on the lobby level, and becomes visible at higher levels. Stan and Connie Spielbusch can be seen here, riding it.
The bar area has a large-screen TV, here with the breakfast service area visible behind it.
Sometimes the big bright screen makes TV images more prominent than real life. Here we see CNN Headline News anchor Lynne Russell outshining the bar crowd behind Sean and Jerilyn.
